NaProTECHNOLOGY (Natural Procreative Technology) is a women's health science developed by Dr. Thomas Hilgers at the Pope Paul VI Institute that monitors and maintains reproductive and gynecologic health by working cooperatively with the menstrual and fertility cycles. It uses the Creighton Model FertilityCare System to identify biological markers of cycle function, then applies targeted medical (NaPro Medical) and surgical (NaPro Surgery) treatments to correct identified abnormalities. NaProTECHNOLOGY does not employ methods that are suppressive, circumventive, or destructive of reproductive function. It is the most extensively published clinical approach within Restorative Reproductive Medicine. Sanchez-Mendez et al. (2025), in a cohort of 1,310 couples, reported an adjusted cumulative take-home baby rate of 50% at about 24 months and 62.1% overall (crude take-home baby rate 35.3%).1
