Ovulatory failure in a normal population and in patients with breast cancer

Abstract
The luteal phase plasma progesterone levels of 341 control patients were compared with those in 25 patients with early and 12 patients with advanced breast cancer. There was a significant increase of ovulatory failure and luteal deficiency in patients with advanced breast cancer.
